Hope Story

Founded December 31, 2008 as a non-denominational church, The Fountain of Hope Christian Church, Inc., a 501(c)3 IRS recognized non-profit corporation, is founded to do as the prophet Isaiah has reminded us:

Isaiah 61:1-2   “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me; he has sent me to bring good news to the oppressed, to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and release to the prisoners; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;”

From the initial meeting on December 31, 2008 in the bottom of a florist shop to the present, Fountain of Hope has lifted the universal beacon of hope, Jesus Christ.    The vision of Fountain of Hope is a Church empowering to serve God through worship, mission, and ministry in Spirit and Truth.   This is done by encouraging spiritual growth and nurturing God’s children to take care of self, community, and the world through Christian Education, Radical Hospitality, Authentic Praise and Worship, and Service.  Now, Fountain of Hope is an affiliate of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Fountain of Hope is concerned about the individual in the church and beyond the walls of the church.   Recognizing that God’s word is truth, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son to the world that WHOSOEVER believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”   We believe that this word is true and act accordingly with what we do.   Our ministries touch people in the church, in hospice care, in nursing homes, in jails, in shelters, on the street, in the home, in the school, and wherever we go.   While we enjoy worship and praise, we are a church that just doesn’t meet only Sunday morning, but we touch lives in the church, the community, and the world each and every day.

We invite you to find a place in the FOUNTAIN OF HOPE to fill your spiritual cup, fulfill your purpose, and to grow with us.
